24/24 MERRY CHRISTMASDear all, The kids and team from Help for the Massai e.V. wish you a merry christmas! We want to say THANK YOU for following our Christmas calendar and hope you could take some ideas with you. The last idea which is the cheapest, is to pray and send your lovely thoughts our way. Whether it is praying for good decisions made in our leadership team, for a good HftM community or for good guidance for the project as a total- we really appreciate it. Your lovely thoughts on our project, on the christmas calendar, on our achievements or even fails this year make us feel like the big community we already are. The HftM community is full of so many different backgrounds and nationalities- just like in the christmas story where everyone comes together and celebrates regardless of who they are.Christmas can be a time of loneliness and stress and might not be a happy occasion for all of you, but we hope we can send a little love your way and hope you celebrate the day best you can.Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for being here.#asanteni #hftmcommunity #merrychristmas #christmascalendar

🇬🇧Day 23/24: How to join our #hftmchallenge and run with us: Step 1: register with any tracking app you like (komoot, strava,...)Step 2: if you want, tell us that you're participating via mail, then we can send you updates and motivation throughout january.✉️ media@massai.orgStep 3: find your sponsors and ask them to sponsor any amount / km. Also, agree on an upper limit. Write yourself a list so you don't forget your sponsors. Step 4: run/walk/ride/swim your miles in january and track your successes. Share your activities and tag us online!Step 5: send us your stats for January and get a certificate back Step 6: send your certificate to all your sponsors with a personal note asking them to donate the amount. 🇬🇧We've already talked about the possibility to become either project sponsor or to take over sponsorship of a child. However, I want to highlight something- we as an organisation stand out for guiding and financing education from kindergarten up to training after school, which is why we founded our vocational training center. The first students have already completed the whole training and found really good work after. Starting from 35 € for a younger child to 70 € monthly for a child in secondary school, you can help paving a future.🇩🇪Wir haben bereits über die Möglichkeit gesprochen, entweder Projektpate zu werden oder die Patenschaft für ein Kind zu übernehmen. Ich möchte etwas hervorheben - wir als Organisation begleiten und finanzieren Bildung vom Kindergarten über die Schule bis zur Ausbildung, weshalb wir unser Berufsbildungszentrum gegründet haben. Die ersten Schüler und Schülerinnen sind bereits fertig und haben nach der Ausbildung wirklich gute Jobs gefunden.
